One Eye Open

For this figure study I wanted to use a medium I was less familiar with. Although I used colored pencils a ton in my early high school years I hadn’t used them outside my sketchbooks or in tandem with gouache in a long while. I focused on reflective light and how to figure value to lead the eye around the figure.
